Loading command-line symfony takes a LONG time

Reported by: colnector Assigned to: fabien
Priority: major Milestone: 1.1.5
Component: tasks Version: 1.1.4
Keywords: slow command-line Cc:
Qualification: Unreviewed

Description

Since I've moved to Symfony 1.1 on my Windows machine, launching 'Symfony' from command-line (even with no parameters) has become very lengthy, ~11 seconds (even with no parameters at all), though my machine is a fast one.

I'm using the latest version from SVN

(In [12864]) [1.2] added cache to symfony CLI (closes #4882)

Is there a good reason for this to be left untreated for 1.1 which is still the official release version? 10x

Sorry, I'm in the rush for symfony 1.2, and I thought you were talking about symfony 1.2. I will of course backport it to 1.1.

That's also a bit weird as you are the first one to notice this issue on 1.1.

I'm not the first and only, see the forum thread in my second comment.

Ticket re-opened so it's not lost in the heap.

Thanks

Thank you for the quick response. It now takes ~10 seconds the first time and 2-3 seconds the next times, which is quite reasonable.
