Description

In chapter http://www.symfony-project.org/book/1_1/10-Forms#Standard%20Symfony%20Validators there is an example of a custom validator which still seems to use sf1.0 syntax.

As said in the chapter header:

This chapter describes the way forms were implemented in symfony 1.0. For compatibility reason
and because of the admin generator feature still uses this system, this information is also
valuable for symfony 1.1. However, if you start a new project with symfony 1.1, you also want
to read the "symfony Forms in Action" book for more information on the new form framework.

I think this should be more obvious, because if you dont read the chapter from the beginning, you'll think this information is accurate for normal 1.1 usage, which is not true.

  • milestone changed from 1.0.19 to 1.1.6.

  • version changed from 1.1.1 to 1.2.7.
  • milestone changed from 1.1.8 to 1.2.8.

Still exists in 1.2 - maybe would be better to drop the entire paragraph? Fabian?

  • status changed from new to closed.
  • resolution set to wontfix.
  • milestone deleted.

The whole chapter describes the 1.0 forms. And there is already a big warning at the beginning. So, the only thing we can do is remove the chapter altogether but then, you still need the information if you still use the 1.0 form system.
